Leave peels on. Unpeeled fruits and vegetables contain more filling fiber than those with their skin and membranes removed. Wash or scrub unpeeled produce carefully with warm water before eating to remove dirt and bacteria. If you're concerned about pesticide residue, buy organic produce when you can afford it.
